I've always wanted to try the Mega Tamago, but since I live in the U.S. it isn't exactly easy to get my hands on one. That's why I decided to head to my local McDonald's and recreate it! Also, I made mine a double!

I confess I've never tried either of those - I let myself get sucked into whatever current "event" style burger is being pitched heavily whenever I visit, but I restrict myself to that.

If I start ordering off the regular menu, it reminds me of my first trip to Japan when I knew bugger all about Japanese food and wound up eating basically nothing but western food for the entire trip.

Not my proudest hour.

OH, goodness, an egg!

Did you have the teriyaki sandwich at McDonald's? That's pretty good! I have been to Japan twice and my goal both times has been to try the ebi filet, and I never get around to it.
